At the Animal Clinic of Verona, we are pleased to offer boarding for your furry family members. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Dogs are also given exercise time outside at least twice daily. Our boarding areas are climate-controlled, keeping your pets warm in the winter months and cool in the summer months.
You are welcome to bring your pet's food, treats, bedding* and toys for their added comfort. However, if you prefer, we do provide food and bedding here. We use Royal Canin GI dry or wet food because it is easy on the stomach. This food allows a smooth transition when changing from their normal diet.
For those pets staying 2 or more nights, we offer a complimentary bath, nail trim and ear cleaning. All pets must be free of fleas and ticks and must be up-to-date on required vaccinations.** This protects all animals staying at the clinic. Proof of these vaccinations must be provided prior to your pet's stay with us. If pets are not current on their vaccinations, they will need to be given here, along with the appropriate examinations. Flea treatment will also be administered if needed.
Regular boarder drop off and pickup times:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. (Office is closed on Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. — 2:00 p.m.) For those pets that need vaccine updates at the time of boarding, please inform us prior to drop off.
* If owner provides a bed that is too large for our washer and dryer, we will need to use our own bedding, as accidents do happen and we wish to keep the bedding clean and in good condition.
**Required vaccines for boarding:
Dogs- DHPP(distemper/parvo), Bordetella (kennel cough) and Rabies vaccines
Cats – FVRCP (feline distemper) and Rabies vaccines
***IMPORTANT*** As we have no doctors available on Saturdays, no pet needing the required vaccines can be dropped off on Saturdays. If proof of the vaccines cannot be furnished, we will not be able to board your pet. It is VERY important that you call for an appointment to update the vaccines PRIOR to boarding. This avoids the inconvenience of not being able to board your pets because vaccines are not up to date.
"I just started taking my dog to the Animal Clinic of Verona and could not be more happy with my experience. Dr. Landry was very friendly, professional and the staff was as well. They truly care about your pet as if they are family! I will continue to go to the Animal Clinic of Verona and highly recommend them to anyone!"
